The objective of this course is to provide a physically and emotionally safe classroom environments that encourage active learning, self-motivation, and cooperative interaction among students. learning environment where students can gain competent skills that will enable them to prepare for careers in the performing arts as professional entertainers, teachers, or contributing members of community theatrical or performing groups. Students will develop practical skills in personal expression and communications, self-esteem, and interpersonal interaction between individuals and groups as a whole.

AuditioningStudents will continue to learn the process of an audition and how to apply these skills to a job interview.
Character Development-Students will learn to observe, listen, and respond in character to other actors throughout a scripted or improvised scene.
-Students will understand a characters objectives by creating singular immediate and personal needs and wants. Physical MovementStudents will learn how physical movement can shape a character, scene and tell a story by using variety of theater practices and techniques such as ViewPoints and Mask Work
